Is a license required to carry a concealed weapon?
 Yes, see above.

Do I have to register my firearm?
 Hand guns must be registered, long guns do not.

Do I need a license to own a gun?  No you do not.

Are assault weapons banned?
 In New Jersey assualt weapons (both hand and long guns)
 are tightly restricted.

What about NFA weapons?
 NFA's are restricted by New Jersey law, a special license is
 almost never issued.
