PACCOUNT Command



This command saves the processing account records to tape or disk or just deletes the records.
It then clears the accounting file for further use.


PACCOUNT [tapeaddr[,density][tape-file-name]]
[DISK,disk-file-name]
[DEL]

Parameters

tapeaddr - The tape unit on which to write the accounting records

density - The density of the tape. Format is ss or X'ss'

tape-file-name - The file name for the tape label. If not present an unlabled tape is used. An
assgn and tlbl card must be entered for the POWER/VS partition before POWER/VS is
started. The tlbl must have a file name of 'tfilename'.

DISK - Specifies that the output is to disk. The assgn, dlbl, and extent cards must be
entered for the POWER/VS partition before POWER/VS is started. The DLBL card must
have a filename of 'dfilename' and the drive must be of the same type as the drive
the IJAFILE resides on.

DEL - Delete all account records.
