Definition of 0I24A

0I24A CANNOT ADD, INSUFFICIENT SAB TABLE SPACE
Cause: No room exists in the tables to add the seek address block (SAB) for this DASD
device.
System Action: If IPL is from the keyboard. the system waits for an operator response. If IPL
is from the reader, the ADD card is ignored and IPL is completed, but the operator must re-IPL
if this device is required.
Programmer Action: Reassemble the supervisor with more SAB table space. Accomplish this
by specifying a greater number in the SKSEP option.
Operator Action: Enter a DEL command to release a DASD device that is not required, then
re-enter the ADD command if IPL is from the keyboard ; otherwise. remove an ADD card or
delete a DASD device and re—lPL.
If the problem recurs, execute a stand-alone dump (see DOS/VS SADP) and have the
· output
· supervisor listing
· log sheet
available for problem determination.
