0R17I WRONG LOCATION AND/OR SIZE OF REAL PARTITION - CANNOT RESTART REAL
PART START ADDR CHKPT WAS xxxxxK REAL PART END ADDR CHKPT WAS
xxxxxK
Cause: A program in virtual mode which contains PFIXed pages does not contain the real
beginning and end it had at the time of checkpoint.
Note: If the checkpoint was taken in a multiprogramming system and the restart is tried in a
single partition system (NPARTS-1), the partition end address given in the message is 16K
higher than it was before because of the special treatment of the page pool in a single
partition system:
System Action: The job is canceled.
Programmer Action: none.
Operator Action: Issue the MAP command to check the partition sizes. Allocate physically the
same real space to the checkpoint partition that was allocated to the original problem partition.
It can be bigger but must contain the same area. If this allocation is not possible, return the
output of the MAP command to your programmer.
