Cause: Partition identifier(s) or virtual address(es) must be entered so that the system can
select the required pages for the page data set dump.
System Action: The system waits for an operator response.
Programmer Action: none.
Operator Action:
Enter one or more of the following parameters in any order:
Partition identifier (which may be either BG, F1, F2, F3, or F4) to dump an entire virtual
partition, or
Virtual start and end address, within parentheses and separated by a comma, of a selected
number of pages to be dumped, or
One virtual address if only one page is to be dumped from the page data set. Or
Enter IPT to switch from SYSLOG to SYSIPT to read any additional parameters from SYSIPT,
Enter EOJ to terminate the job, or
Press END/ENTER to dump the entire page data set on SYSLST or SYS001.
