1I96A ERROR ON HARD COPY FILE AT cccchhhhrr
Cause: An irrecoverable I/O error has occurred on the hard-copy file while accessing the
indicated record (cchhr = cylinder, head, record). When processing hard-copy records
(HC=YES specified in SET command), the address specified is the actual disk address.
Or an end—of—file condition was encountered before the extents were exhausted.
System Action: The system enters the wait state.
Programmer Action: none.
Operator Action: If HC=CREATE was specified in the SET job-control command, re-IPL the
system and create the file at a different location, or
If hard-copy printer is attached, suppress recording (specify HC= N0 in SET command).
If HC=YES was specified in the SET command, re-IPL the system and run the PRINTLOG
program to retrieve the information from the file and then recreate the file at a different
location.
