1N40D PROCEDURE LIBRARY NOT ACCESSIBLE
Cause: The last EXEC statement encountered attempted to call a procedure, but the proce-
dure library was being used by MAINT or CORGZ. Job control cannot access the procedure
library while it is used by MAINT or CORGZ.
System Action: If SYSLOG is assigned to a keyboard. the system waits for an operator
response; otherwise, the job is canceled.
Programmer Action: none.
Operator Action: Stop the partition by the STOP command and wait until the MAINT or
CORGZ job, running in the BG, is completed. Then reenter the statement/command and
continue processing, or
Type IGNORE or press END/ENTER, or
Type CANCEL to cancel the job.
1N50D PROCEDURE LIBRARY NOT AVAILABLE
Cause: The last EXEC statement/command encountered attempted to call a procedure, but
the procedure library has not been allocated or does not contain active entries.
System Action: If SYSLOG is assigned to a keyboard, the system waits for an operator
response; otherwise, the job is canceled.
Programmer Action: Allocate space to the procedure library, if applicable. Catalog the
requested procedure and resubmit the job.
Operator Action: Check that the correct SYSRES is mounted and check the procedure name.
If correction is possible, reā€”enter the statement/command, or
Type IGNORE. or press END/ENTER, or
Type CANCEL to cancel the job, then execute DSERV for the procedure library.
Note: If a new SYSRES is mounted, perform IPL.
1N60D NO FREE JIB(S) AVAILABLE FOR PROCEDURE PROCESSING
Cause: The last EXEC statement/command encountered attempted to activate a procedure,
but no free JIB(s) is/are available. Too many alternate units or temporary assignments have
been made.
Note: If DASD file protect was specified at system generation, OPEN utilizes JIB space for
DASD extent information.
System Action: If SYSLOG is assigned to a keyboard the system waits for an operator
response; otherwise, the job is canceled.
Programmer Action: Use the LISTIO command to determine the number of temporary
assignments made. See LISTIO command output in DOS/VS System Control Statements, or in
DOS/VS Operating Procedures.
To reduce the JIB usage, move the temporary assignments to the physical devices listed as
STD in the CMNT column by typing /&.
If the problem recurs, have the
· LISTIO output
· log sheet
· supervisor listing
available for problem determination.
Operator Action: Use LISTIO command to get listing of assignments, and then
Type CANCEL to cancel job, or
Type IGNORE or press END/ENTER to ignore the statement and continue processing.
