Cause: No buffers are available for the indicated routine, or if only xx is specified the
execution processor could not obtain an I/O buffer for the partition xx.
System Action: Reader/writer routines cannot be started. The S command is ignored. If only
xx is given in the message, the partition is put in the wait state.
Programmer Action: Reassemble POWER with increased MAXBUFS parameter value to
reflect the needs of the POWER installation.
Operator Action: Cancel or stop a reader or writer routine; then retype the S command for
the routine causing the message. Or
If another routine may not be stopped, defer starting the new routine until another routine has
