2181I NO VALID STORAGE ASSIGNMENT IN FINAL PHASE
Cause: No valid storage assignment in the final phase of the object module. This may be due
to a PHASE card out of order or to missing TXT card(s).
System Action: The job is canceled.
Programmer Action: Refer to card format 1, linkage editor input cards (DOS/VS System
Control Statements. under Linkage Editor) and compare this with the output on SYSLST. The
probable errors are:
· PHASE card follows the associated INCLUDE card, rather than preceding it.
· PHASE card follows the associated object deck, rather than preceding it.
· object deck is missing completely or in part.
· INCLUDE card is missing.
Reorganize the job stream and resubmit the job.
If the problem recurs, have the
· linkage editor map
· log sheet
· job control cards
· object modules
· source deck
· program listing
available for problem determination.
Operator Action: Check SYSLST output for possible additional information.
