Cause: An ASCII tape file was specified, but the supervisor was generated without the
ASCII-EBCDIC and EBCDIC-ASCII translate tables.
System Action: The job is canceled.
Programmer Action: If ASCII is required. assemble a new supervisor with ASCII=YES in the
SUPVR macro.
If the problem recurs, with ASCII support in the supervisor, have the
· supervisor listing
· system log
· printer output
· job stream
· system dump at the time of the failure
available for problem determination.
Operator Action: Check that the correct SYSRES has been mounted. If correction is neces-
sary, mount the new SYSRES, perform IPL, and rerun the job.
