Cause: Unit check with sense byte indicating command reject. The command cannot be
executed because it is not defined for the unit.
System Action: Normal QTAM operation continues.
Programmer Action: Check the command code (the first byte of the CCW in the printed
message) to see if it is a valid command for the hardware unit involved. If it is a valid com-
mand code, this is probably a hardware error.
If the problem recurs, have the
· system log showing this error message
· system dump, taken at the time of the error
· ROD command output
· EREP output (see DOS/VS SADP)
available for problem determination.
