8415I INCORRECT RECORD LENGTH INPUT DEVICE
Cause: The input tape contains records of a length other than 80 or 81 bytes. This is a user
error.
System Action: The job is canceled.
Programmer Action: Check that the proper tape is mounted and assignment instructions
were given, or check the function specification. If the problem recurs, have the
· job stream
· log sheet
· printer output
· output of a stand-alone dump (see DOS/VS SADP)
available for problem determination.
Operator Action: Check that the proper tape is mounted and that the assignments are
correct. If corrections are necessary, rerun the job.
