8F03D xP ASSIGNMENT DISAGREES WITH FUNCTION IDENT
where x = I or O (Input or Output)
Cause: The function identified in the utility modifier statement does not agree with the
assigned devices.
Examples: With // UTD in the modifier statement SYS004 could not be assigned to disk.
With // UDD in the modifier statement, neither SYS004 nor SYS005 could be assigned to
tape.
System Action: If the SYSLOG device has a keyboard, the system waits for an operator
response; otherwise the job is canceled.
Programmer Action: none.
Operator Action: Supply a corrected modifier card and type RETRY or type CANCEL (or press
END/ENTER) to cancel the job and then restart the job with correct ASSGN cards.
