Make another users device available to your VM


Priviledge Class G



The LINK command makes another users virtual device availble to your
virtual machine with the characteristecs as defined in the other
users VM370 directory entry.



userID The user id that has the device.

vAddr1 The device address on the userID's virtual machine.

vAddr2 The address you want the device to appear as on your
virtual machine.

mode The access mode desired according to the following table
R Read only access. The action fails if another user
has write access.
RR Read only access. Succeeds even if another user has
write access.
W Write access. Fails if any other user has read or
write access.
WR Write and Read access. Read only is provided if any
other user has read or write access.
M Multiple access. Gives write access unless another
user has write access causing the action to fail.
MR Write access unless another user has write access in
which case read access is granted.
MW Write access in all cases iregardless of other read/
write access.

Facility is in use. You will be prompted to enter the
password.
