VM/CMS CP QUERY Command


QUERY is used to determine your system status and configuration


All Priviledge Classes



The QUERY command can be used to find:

· Users linked to a virtual address (and thier address and mode).
· Terminal session time used.
· Channel operating mode of your VM.
· TERMINAL and SET command current settings.
· The current state of your VM's devices.
· Count of closed spool files allocated to your VM.
· Virtual printer, reader, punch, and processor identification and attributes.

Many other functions of this command are available depending on the class of the submitter.
